Paul Milton, Director, Clumber Consultancy

Paul Milton

Director

Paul joined Clumber as a director of the ERA business in July 2019 after 32 years’ experience in the insolvency industry. He is highly experienced in dealing with complex onsite situations assisting employers and employees and understands the many challenges our clients face. During what is undoubtedly one of the most difficult times an employee will face, he is determined to ensure that our ERA team provides empathetic support and assistance to employees.

His day-to-day focus is the delivery of an all-inclusive suite of ERA solutions to Insolvency Practitioners looking for efficiency and cost effectiveness, without compromising on quality.

Paul has known Darren for more than twenty years and is very excited to be able to grow the already excellent reputation of the Clumber brand. He really enjoys focussing on both the personal relationships and the financial detail required to be the most effective and engaged provider of ERA services.

He is married with three children and has been a season ticket holder with Leicester City for over thirty years. When time permits, and there is no fixture in the diary, he loves spending it with family on the East Coast.

Her experience spans both live and paid-up Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution pensions, as well as winding up pension schemes. She has also managed teams, training both Trustees and staff and implementing work processes.

Kathryn Walker

Senior Administrator

Kathryn joined Clumber in September 2020 with nearly 4 years insolvency experience coming from a well known insolvency practice in West Yorkshire. Prior to this Kathryn worked in the banking industry for 12 years and dealt with many aspects within her role, including Personal banking, Business banking and Probate.

Outside of work, Kathryn enjoys spending quality time with her partner and her two beautiful girls. She loves family breaks in the UK and abroad and socialising with her friends.

Chrissy Garland, Administrator, Clumber Consultancy

Chrissy Toms

Administrator

Chrissy joined Clumber in 2022 as an administrator on the Pensions team, after working in retail management for over 20 years. Her decision to change career wasn’t easy, loving her role as she did.  However, the extremely long hours required of a retail industry manager was impacting her time with her young family, so she took a chance and joined Clumber. She readily acknowledges this was the best decision of her life – as she now has an amazing work life balance and is able to spend more time at home with her family.

Despite no prior experience working in the Insolvency industry directly, Chrissy contributes her years of administrative experience, a fantastic work ethic and excellent customer service skills to great effect.  She loves working for Clumber and is proud to be part of a wonderful team where she assists in producing Clumbers Pension Scheme reports and the Pension Claims to the Redundancy Payment Service.

Outside work, Chrissy enjoys spending time with her partner, their children and her family and friends. She loves to cook, read books and explore new countries and believes it is really important to always have a holiday booked!

Emily Bainbridge, Administrator, Clumber Consultancy

Emily Bainbridge

Senior Administrator

Emily joined Clumber as an Administrator in October 2022 after being made redundant from the Construction Industry. With plenty of transferable Admin and Customer Service skills it was time for a change, and she was drawn to Clumber to gain experience in the Insolvency Industry and learn new skills. Emily was promoted to Senior Administrator in July 2025 in recognition of her hard work and development over the last three years.

Her role at Clumber, as Senior Administrator to the Pensions Team, sees her completing employee pension claims for all pension schemes and assist in completing pension scheme reports. Emily is really enjoying being a part of Clumber: “It’s great to work in such a professional yet approachable team”.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her fiancé and going on new adventures with their dog. Her annual Cornish holiday is a particular highlight.

Amie Townsley, Administrator, Clumber Consultancy

She enjoys taking up new challenges and is always willing to go the extra mile to get the job done.
